These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the TrueVisit insurance quoting and comparison platform (the "Service"), operated by TrueVisit ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the agency you represent.
1. What TrueVisit is
TrueVisit is software that lets insurance agencies generate instant quotes across multiple insurers, compare plans side by side, and present that quoting engine on their own branded website. TrueVisit is not an insurance company, broker or agent. We do not sell insurance, adjudicate claims, or guarantee the accuracy of any quote, rate or eligibility determination generated by the platform. Insurance products quoted through the Service are underwritten and sold by the insurers and agencies involved, not by TrueVisit.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- Access is passwordless — sign-in is by one-time code sent to the email address on your account. You are responsible for keeping that email account secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your agency's account, including actions taken by anyone you give access to.
- The Service is intended for insurance agencies, brokerages and their staff, not for individual consumers shopping for their own coverage.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Access to the Service requires an active paid subscription plan, billed on the interval shown at checkout (monthly or annually).
- Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's own terms governing payment processing.
- Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, we may suspend quoting functionality on your website until the account is brought current. Your admin portal access to manage billing remains available.
- You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to collect information from customers you do not have a lawful basis to collect it from.
- Attempt to access another agency's data, account, or tenant environment.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's normal operation, including circumventing rate limits or security controls (such as reCAPTCHA where configured).
- Use the Service to publish false, misleading, or deceptive insurance information.
- Resell or sublicense the Service to a third party without our written consent.
5. Your content and customer data
You retain ownership of the branding content (logo, colours, contact details, plan configuration) you add to your account, and of the customer quote data your website visitors submit through the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data and for your own obligations to your customers regarding it. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and TrueVisit branding, is owned by TrueVisit and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service — only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your agency's own quoting operations for as long as your subscription is active.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that quotes generated through the platform will be error-free, that rates will exactly match what an insurer ultimately charges, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Final pricing, eligibility and coverage terms are always subject to the underwriting insurer's own review.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueVisit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including lost profits or lost business, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if a subscription remains unpaid after a reasonable notice period. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which TrueVisit is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
